NextGen Ministries

4:00-5:30pm Sundays in the Youth Building

All Junior High and Senior High youth are invited to join us for UMYF on Sunday evenings from  4-5:30pm in the Youth Room. Each week of the month we rotate through the following types of activities: Game Nights, Mission Nights, Bible Study Nights, Outings, Worship Nights,  & Small Groups. We always provide a meal, a devotional word,  ​and time for just hanging out with each other. Friends are always welcome!

The Student Ministry at Zachary UMC is led by Michelle Willis. Michelle is no stranger to Zachary. She lived here for seven years and was very active in the life of our church during the time her father served as the pastor here. She has served in volunteer ministry for most of her life on church youth councils, DCYM, worship teams, and most recently, was the Contemporary Worship Leader and Director of Junior High Ministry for 3 years at a Methodist church in Minden, LA. She's a dog mom who spends her free time adventuring and participating in local theater, and she is so excited to be returning to her home church at ZUMC to serve the same programs she grew up in and foster new foundations in Jesus.
