Serving at Zachary United Methodist Church 

If you are applying to volunteer with ministries that deal with minor children at Zachary United Methodist Church, please follow the steps below. (Please note that you must be an active participant for at least 6 months at ZUMC or at a previous church to be able to serve in ministries dealing with minors.)
 
Once you fill out and submit the online application and sign the appropriate policy manual, the ministry safe video training and quiz links will be e-mailed. After you complete the video training, take the quiz, and we have received all the references, we will contact you with a timeline for your interview.

5 STEPS TO MINISTRY SAFE CERTIFICATION:
(RECOMMENDED: Complete Steps 1, 2, & 3 in one sitting)

STEP 1:  FILL OUT THE SERVANT APPLICATION FORM
STEP 2:  READ THE SAFE SANCTUARY POLICY
**If you are under the age of 18, please contact the Youth Director, ([email protected]) to obtain the necessary forms for teen volunteers**
STEP 3:  DIGITALLY SIGN THE SAFE SANCTUARY ACKNOWLEGEMENT FORM
STEP 4:  (WHEN APPLICABLE) COMPLETE THE VIDEO TRAINING & QUIZ LINK
(Link will be emailed to you from [email protected] once you have completed STEPS 1, 2, & 3 within 48 hours). Steps 1-4 must be completed 2 weeks before your initial serving date.
STEP 5:  (WHEN APPLICABLE) REFERENCE AND BACKGROUND CHECKS WILL BE CONDUCTED
ONCE ALL THE ABOVE STEPS ARE COMPLETED, YOU ARE READY TO SERVE!
