An Invitation to Holy Week: April 10 - 17, 2022

Holy Week is called “holy” because it is the week in history when God brought salvation to humanity through Jesus Christ. Every year we are invited to prayerfully remember the journey Jesus took into Jerusalem. It was there that he taught in the temple, gave the last supper in the Upper Room, prayed in Gethsemane, was betrayed, was sentenced to death through crucifixion, was placed in a tomb, and rose from the grave. To guide and inspire our faith during this year’s Holy Week, Zachary United Methodist Church offers you the following.

April 10 Palm Sunday Combined Service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary
Holy Week begins with the cantata, “Behold the Lamb”. Directed by Dr. Eddie Elsey and Dr. Warren Kimball, our choir and praise team will present a musical and narrative message of the significant price that Jesus paid for our freedom and salvation. The worship service will be in-person only, and Sunday School for children, youth, and adults will be before the service at 9:00 a.m.
